DELF DALF

The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of National Education. They are internationally recognized and valid for life.

They assess the four core language skills—listening, reading, writing, and speaking—according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), from A1 to C2.

Examination Fees

Special rate: Alliance Française Bahrain students and students from our partner schools receive a 10 BD discount on the examination fee.

Which Version Should You Choose?

The diploma awarded is exactly the same, regardless of the version of the exam. The only difference lies in the topics used during the examination, which are adapted to the candidates’ age group.
